As featured in Coastal Connecticut magazine, Avery’s Jason Carron was interviewed to get the insights of this stunning metamorphose. Jason oversaw extensive renovations, from the exterior and interior reconstructions to menu development and staff training.
“We’re very pleased with our progress,” says Carron, head of not only the renovations but the day-to-day operations as well. “It’s exciting to see how people are responding to the many changes we’ve made. They’re really enjoying themselves, which is exactly what our aim has always been here at the Mooring.”
Previously known as a Connecticut shoreline staple, Guilford Mooring has been completely transformed into an elegant yet family-friendly restaurant, which is already gaining the reputation of the area’s finest dining experience.
From the new flooring, paint, and seating area, the food and beverage menu was completely revamped. A predominantly seafood restaurant now offers a wider range of American entrees and steaks. In addition to Guilford Mooring’s specialties, such as Pan Roasted Salmon prepared with a summer glaze and served with Citrus Jasmine Rice and Roasted Corn and Black Bean Salsa, a great assortment of delicious steaks was added to their bustling menu. For those who wish to add some turf to their palate, this is definitely a good news.
